Here is short list of common questions and short answers to each one:
1. Q: Where do I buy tickets for the bus?
A: You can buy them on-line by clicking "Book online" on the top of the page. You can also purchase tickets at our ticket desk in Harpa in Reykjavík or at our ticket desk in Akureyri. Buying tickets on the bus is also possible.
2. Q: Where can I find your schedule?
A: Above there is a button that says schedules, push that, then choose either summer or winter schedule and then choose which route you would like to see.
3. Q: Where do I buy bus passports?
A: Bus passports can be purchased on-line by clicking Bus passports on the menu on the top of the page. You can also buy them at our ticket desks in Reykjavík and in Akureyri.
4. Q: How do the bus passports work?
A: The passport is valid for one circle in one direction, so you start by choosing the first stop and then you continue in that direction until you complete the circle. You can stop at as many places as you would like and take as much time as you like within the time frame that the ticket is valid.
5. Q: Can I go off the bus at "location x" or "y"? Can I board the bus at "location x" or "y"?
A: Our bus drivers can let you off the bus wherever you would like along the route, that is to say on the side of the road. We can also pick you up at many different locations. In both instances it is important you let us know beforehand.
6: Q: For how long is the bus ticket valid?
A: They are valid for quite a lot of time. Enough time so that you need not worry. There is no definite expire date, it depends on various factors (boring factors) but at least for the whole summer. Please ask us easier questions.
7. Q: For how long is the bus passport valid?
A: Depending on the passport. Full Circle: 15th of September.
