11.07.2011 Bus 12 will leave at correct time from both Reykjavík and Höfn and people will be transferred over the river to the other side. The bus frome Klaustur and further east will be about 3 quarters up to one hour late.
10.07.2011 Bus 12 will leave at correct time from both Reykjavik and Höfn and go through Landmannalaugar. The morgning bus from Vík, Skógar and Hvolsvöllur will be connected to the bus going further east. From Klaustur to Höfn, the bus will be about 3 hours late. Between Reykjavik and Vík and vice versa everything is according to schedule.
09.07.2011 Because of flood in the river Múlakvísl the road east of Vík is closed. The road department is working on getting it open again but it is not clear when that will happen so it is not certain that bus 12 at 8:30 will go all the way to Höfn and the same goes for bus 12a from Höfn to Reykjavík. We will keep you posted as soon as we know more.
